		Transzêzere Kayak touring on the Zêzere River The Zêzere River is the setting of a three day adventure where you can enjoy the river's tranquillity, take in the beauty of the landscape and relax and have fun with friends on a unique experience. We begin at the Álvaro Schist Village and with our kayaks packed with our food and equipment, including lifejackets. This is the beginning of a relaxing, fun and adventurous three days. Our kayak tour takes us along the beautiful Zêzere river, passing Foz da Ribeira de Pêra, Bouçã, and Foz de Alge. We will pass by the Schist Village of Pedrógão Pequeno and finally to the historic village of Dornes. We camp close to the river and our cheery guide will cook us a well earned dinner. Program day 1 - 10:00 - Reception for guestsin Casal de S. Simão - 11:30 - Beginning of the kayak tour in Álvaro - 13:30 - Lunch - 18:00 - End of the jouney day 2 - 09:00 - Beginning of the second journey - 13:00 - Lunch - 18:00 - End of the second journey day 3 - 09:00 - Beginning of the third journey - 13:00 - Lunch - 17:00 - End of the activity with a lanche in Dornes and return back to home. NOTE: During this activity you may travel distances of between 15 and 25km by kayak. This program is of medium difficulty and is suitable for people who are reasonably fit. Accommodation will be a combination of either camping near the river or staying at small houses alongside the river route. At the time of booking you can choose your type of accommodation. Payment must be made directly to the camping sites or houses by you. To maximise your enjoyment for this trip we would advise comfortable clothes & shoes, which are suitable for both sunshine and rain - dependant on the time of the year. Don't forget your camera.
