In addition to the current general conditions, particular participation conditions are presented in the program of each activity promoted by GO (Go Outdoor, Lda.). 1.   Licence
1.1.   GO is a touristic services company, based in Penela - Portugal, legally entitled by the Portuguese Government body Turismo de Portugal, I. P. with the license n.º 47/2007. 2.   Registration and Payments
2.1. Your registration is not valid until complete payment is received, along with a completed and signed registration form. 2.2.   The payment can be done in three different ways:

2.4.   All registrations must take place before the date of the activity. No registrations will be accepted on the day. 3.   Prices
3.1.   The activity prices are based on, amongst other factors, the services costs, insurance, meals, tickets to museums or other cultural places, transportation, etc. The price also includes VAT, except in cases where the VAT is not applicable. 3.2.   To GO reserves the right to change the activity prices due to variations in the service costs or other factors not attributable to the company. When a price change is applicable, the client is informed and has the choice to continue with the activity at the new price or to cancel his registration. When the client decides to cancel due to a price change, any monies already received are reimbursed. 3.3.   The prices stated do not include transportation to the meeting point or personal expenses.  4.   Luggage transportation
4.1.   Where stated in individual programs, Client's luggage will be transported between the accommodations used during the stay. The client must have prepared his luggage before the departure and GO promises to deliver it to the next accommodation, in accordance with the activity's itinerary. Please do not include in your luggage money, credit cards, personal documents (Identity card, flight tickets, passport, etc.) or any other document which, if lost, can complicate the normal execution of the travel plans. GO is not responsible for any losses if the client does not follow this instruction. If there is any fragile object in his luggage, the client must communicate this to GO, and pack it accordingly.  5.   Insurance
5.1.   All the activities prepared by Go Outdoor are covered under Personal Accident Insurance (Licence n.º 027/00006097/000, Liberty Europeia Seguros, S.A.). This includes the payment of treatment costs and repatriation, including hospital stays and medication, up to the annual value of € 3 500, and payment of capital up to € 20 000, in case of death or permanent invalidity of its clients. When customers are under 14 years of age, in the case of death, the capital is reduced to the reimbursement of the funeral expenses to the value of 5.2.   GO's professional activities are covered under civil responsibility insurance (Licence n.º 095/0096074/000, Liberty Europeia Seguros, S.A.) up to a value of € 50,000.  6.   Difficulty level
6.1.   Our programs are accessible to every healthy and reasonably fit person. To help you to choose the best program for your physical condition, we display next to each program a table with information including the kind of program, difficulty, duration, distance, terrain, place, recommended season and number (max. and min.) of participants. 6.2.   The difficulty level of each program is defined based on three factors:
6.3.   Three difficulty levels: easy, moderate and hard.
7.  Client Responsibility
7.1.  The client must respect the starting time for all activities, as well as the timetable on the day as defined by the guide. Delays may make it impossible to finish all or part of an activity. 7.2.  The client is responsible for choosing a program appropriate to his capabilities, physical preparation and health and should provide any relevant personal information before the start of the activity. 7.3.  During the activity the client must follow the environmental recommendations, the laws and other established rules according to the directions given by the guide, and respect the other participant's privacy rights. 7.4.  Reimbursement of any payment will not be given if the client arrives late to an activity or leaves early, or if the client doesn't enjoy a meal or service included in the program. 7.5.  At registration, GO should be informed about any specific needs of the client (dietary restrictions or other). 8.  Program Changes
8.1.  Aiming to ensure better safety and well being in the activities, GO reserves the right to change its hour, place and structure if the weather conditions, or other factors, not attributable to the company, determine any changes. 9.  Cancellation and Reimbursement
9.1.  If the client decides to withdraw from an activity, he must communicate this in writing to GO, by e-mail or postal mail, otherwise he may be obliged to pay the full activity costs or loose any deposit already paid. 9.2.  Failure to attend an activity will be considered as cancellation by the client and will lead to the loss of the overall amount paid, without reason to complaint. 9.3.  Delays of 15 minutes or more after the established start time for the activity are considered as absence.  10.  Inability to comply
10.1.  If the activity is adjourned or cancelled for some reason not attributable to Go Outdoor, the customer may choose between the reimbursements of the overall activity value or change his registration to another activity with an equivalent price. If the other activity's price is higher or lower than the first, the customer may receive the reimbursement or pay the difference, respectively. If a new date is proposed to the activity, the customer can choose to whether or not to join the activity and a reimbursement will be made where necessary. 10.2.  If the number of participants doesn't reach the minimum indicated in the activity's program, GO can: • Maintain the activity with a reduced number of participants by the payment of a supplement; 11.  Responsibilities Limitation
11.1.  GO is not responsible for bodily injuries or material damage resulting from: physical exhaustion due to the participant's physical capabilities; transportations not included on the activity; forces of nature; drug or alcohol consumption; prison or abduction; terrorism; lack or limited access to a medications or medical assistance in remote areas; altitude sickness and medical assistance inadequacy when provided. 11.2.  GO is not responsible for bodily injuries or material damages resulting from any other factors not referred or not attributable to the company. 12.  Use of Photographs and images
12.1.  Any client image taken during our activities can be used by the company without any cost or duty paid to the client, in order to illustrate the company's publicity and promotional material such as catalogues, slides, posters, videos and on the Internet. In reference to minors, GO promises to safeguard as far as possible the client’s identity, publishing only pictures where they are not immediately recognisable. |
